Full Day!

Wat a tiring day!

In the morning, had to go to Unity Sec for this Scrabble and Song Writing contest for the West Zone Cluster 6. Sent in 4 gerls for the Scrabble thingy. 2 sec 3 boys entered the Song Writing Contest. Well, we didn't win anything...but we did gain experience. Furthermore, we had no time to prepare well coz it was such a short time notice.

After that, our Malay Drums boys were invited to perform for the National Day Dinner at Zhenghua Square. Saw Dr. Teo Ho Pin there. Hope our boys did Zhenghua Sec proud. Really proud of them. They are gaining more experience and getting more n more confident each time they perform. Really really proud of them.

The whole thingy finished at 9pm. After packing and locking up, I went home. Me and him planned to catch THE MAID, a locally made horror movie. HOWEVER...kwang kwang kwang...the tix were sold out. So we settle for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory instead. Yah! I was disappointed...coz i prefer watching horror movie for midnight shows...(we watched it at 2.30am). Well, CTCF was a great movie. Yeah I've read the book...but I think I didn't finish it. But...the movie has enabled me to objectify the things I imagined when I read the book. It was hilarious! Had 3 rows of patrons (yup..only 3 rows at the back) laughing their heads off...as if it was full house.

So I did enjoy the movie..though the initial plan was changed. Lucky us...coz my sis n her bf who caught the movie said it was not worth their $9.50...it's VCD-worth. OK..maybe we just need to wait for the VCD den.
